The stages are easy to to follow and the recipes are delicious!! The pictures are beautiful and really inspire you to try the recipes. I have used this cookbook since my little one started eating solids and he now is eating everything. The toddler section is particularly helpful for me as I try to expand lunches and dinners beyond your typical peanut butter and jelly fare. Our favorites are the homemade cheesy noodles with broccoli and the veggie quesadilla with spinach and mushrooms. The food is so good, I make lunch/dinner for the whole family. And most of the recipes use 1 pot/pan for everything and are super quick and easy which is a must for a busy mom! 14 of 15 people found the following review helpful Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: The Baby and Toddler Cookbook: Fresh, Homemade Foods for a Healthy Start (Hardcover) I bought this book as the first time I cooked in my life is when my daughter was 6 months old. I have prepared all her baby food when she was little, so when she transitioned to stage 2/3 food, I wanted to do the same. This book gave me ideas about how to combine vegetables andfruits with oats, quinoa, spices, etc. I have the Top 100 Baby purees book, but did not like it too much because it uses citrics and allergic ingredients to younger babies. This book uses theingredientes I want to use. IN addition, I can use it until the baby is 18 months old. 10 of 11 people found the following review helpful Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: The Baby and Toddler Cookbook: Fresh, Homemade Foods for a Healthy Start (Hardcover) An excellent cookbook for those who want to cook wholesome food for their little ones. Especially love the breakdown of what foods (in what forms) are appropriate for what age groups. |
