This is a beautiful, vividly colored book however there are few words - as in 3 or 4 words every other page. While it's fun to look at, the lack of words/story keeps my 2 year old from enjoying it like most of her books. (She was 3 months when we got it and is 12 months now.) She loves looking at the bright pictures of babies' faces. And as a parent, I am thrilled to introduce this message to her at such a young age. It does a better job than any other children's book I've seen of displaying all the wonderful diversity in the world and reminding us that each one of us is beautiful and special. |
